Loraine: Dona Lin Drive-In

Lubbock: Circle Drive-In, Corral Drive-In, Golden Horseshoe Drive-in, and Red Raider Drive-In

I could only find one on the map.

Drive-In was located just south of Highway 114, northwest corner of West End Place. North of the Westlake Golf Course.topo and photo

You can still see the car ramps. But its closed.


Lufkin: Redland Drive-In and Showtown Twin Drive-In

found Showtown Twin just Northeast of Burke south of Lufkin. topo and photo

Redland is supposed to be between Nacogdoches and Lufkin, but I couldn’t find it. Maybe someone with better eyesight will locate it.


Marfa: Marfa Drive-In

Its just west of the Merced Cemetary topo and photo

You can barely see the parking rows in the aerial photo.


Marshall: Capri

east of Jasper Heights, on US-83, just south of the highway topo

looks overgrown, but it could be the picture.


Mc Allen: Valley

southeast of Boye Reservoir on Highway 115, all south of US-83 on east side of the city. topo and phto

Lots of things parked on the parking rows. Not all of them look like cars.


McCamey: Circus Drive-In

near the Garden of Memories cemetary on US-385 topo and phto

Memphis: Tower Drive-In

southwest of town on Route 256 topo and photo


Menard: Yellow Jacket Drive-In

north side of town, on US-190 topo and photo

parking rows are there, sort of. The screen appears to be still there.


Mercedes: Wes-Mer

Wes-Mer Drive-In is west of town. topo and photo


Mesquite: Bruton Road Drive-In

Midland has/had 3.

one Drive-In was located east of Midland Drive and north of Andrews Highway. topo and photo

The buildings follow the outline of the drive-in area.

another Drive-In was located east of the Midland airport and north of Wadley Avenue. topo and photo

Looks like an office building or shopping center is on top of where it used to be. To the right of where the lozenge shaped road points.

a third Drive-In was located south of Interstate highway 20 and Northwest of Ridgeheights near Midland. There are also a number of gravel pits north of it, between the Drive-In and I-20. topo and photo

The ramps are still there, but overgrown. A bunch of gravel pits out this way.


Mineral Wells: Tek Drive-In

Tek Drive-In was located northeast of Pollard Hill on the west side of town. topo and photo

Look for the K shaped house. To the left and across the road was where the Drive-In was located.


Monahans: Lobo

South of town, on Highway 18 topo and photo

Hard to tell, but its doesn’t look like its open.


Mount Pleasant: Pleasant Drive-In

South of town on US-271, east side of the highway. topo and photo

To the right of the highway, and above the construction, in the open area.


Muleshoe: XIT Drive-In

On the north side of town, on Highway 214. topo and photo


Nacogdoches: Lumberjack Drive-In

New Boston: Longhorn Drive-In

Odessa: Twin

Well, I found 2 Drive-In sites… maybe each one was part of the Twin screens ?

West side of town, west of US-385, south of 42nd street [southwest corner of that intersection] topo and photo

This second one is Northeast of Odessa College topo and photo

Building on top of where it was located. You can still see the fan shape of the Drive-in near the upper part of the aerial photo. The large fan shape.

Olmos: name unknown

I have not seen this one listed elsewhere !

I found it while looking for the Drive-In at Rio Grande City.

Olton: Mustang

Orange: MacArthur Drive-In

Ozona: Big O Drive-In

The parking rows are barely seeable. Lots of brush.


Palestine: Dogwood Twin Drive-In

Pampa: Top O Texas Drive-In

Paris: Airport Drive In Theatre and 271 Drive In Theater

on the way to the aiport, on FM 1508 FM means Farm to Market road. topo and photo

definately closed.

Pasadena: Pasadena Drive-In and Town & Country Twin Drive-In

one: topo and photo

barely visible parking rows. The large open retangular area.

There were 3 drive-ins here.


Pearsall: New Moonlighter and Trevino Drive-In

one: south side of town, Highway 1582 topo and photo

I cannot find the other one. I did have the New moonlighter listed as open, but its not listed on maps.yahoo. So it must be closed.


Pecos: Texan Drive-In

Perryton: Ranger Drive-In

looks in good shape.


Plano: Plano Triple Drive-In

found it ! topo and photo

mostly gone, but you can see part of the original shape of the lot.


Pleasanton: Trail Drive-In

gone, but parking area still visible.


Port Arthur: Don Drive-In
