missing drive ins
Pampa, Texas had not one, but two drive ins. Check the south side of town just west of Cuyler St. on msrmaps.com. the screen is long gone but the site is being used as an auto salvage yard and the cars are parked in the rows. check out the aerial photos, it jumps right out at you. I grew up there and was pretty sure I remembered a second one. It was there around 1965 but was already closed. I think it was called the Pampa Drive In Theater but I could be mistaken.
