Tim Thompson’s map of the Route 66 Drive-In Movie Theatres

I’ll add more info as I have time.

The Drive-Ins are listed in the sequence you would reach them as you travel from Illinois to California. I haven’t been able to find as many of the Drive-Ins as I had hoped.

If you have any information on the location of the Drive-Ins so I can find them on the maps, I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

September 1, 2001: I’ve decided to list Drive-Ins in the towns on, or nearby, Route 66. I have yet to decide the farthest from Route 66 I’ll go. Less than 100 miles seems best. Makes those lonesome highway sections a little less lonely.
